Who are we?

As a health conscious mum, I found many snacks which claimed to have ‘no nasties’, but noticeably didn’t have much goodness or natural flavour either!

So I filled the gap by creating a range of multi-award winning, 100% natural air dried snacks which are not only free from additives & preservatives but retain much of the nutritional goodness and great natural taste.

What’s so great about Nim’s?

- Our entire range is gluten-free and suitable for Vegans, Vegetarians and Coeliac sufferers. We are also Kosher certified.

- In fact, they are the perfect ‘grab and go’ snack making it easy for everyone to get one of their 5 a day!

Where will the money go?

We have worked hard to set up our own production factory in the UK.  Nim’s was created as a result of a desire to combat poor snacking patterns in adults and children combined with heaps of passion, dedication and innovation and we want to continue to innovate.

Creating and launching our new Nim’s Kids range is just one of the ways we are doing this - but we need your help!

Your generous pledges to our campaign will go towards:

£ 5,000 Consumer and Trade Shows

£ 4,000 PR & Marketing

To mark the launch, we are teaming  up with ‘Hope for Children’ as part of the charity’s ‘Your Business, Their Lives’ campaign and will be donating 1p per pack sold to improve children’s health both in the UK and in poverty stricken communities in Africa and Asia to help save eyesight and protect against deadly diseases. 

Every pack of Nim’s Kids will show the Hope for Children logo too.

Here’s how we do it !

Fresh fruit is thinly sliced with skin and pips left in, then dried using our unique Air Drying process to achieve the perfect combination of natural goodness, authentic taste and crunchiness. We will launch with 4 varieties, 2 fruit and 2 vegetable, with the final varieties to be confirmed.

Where are we now?

Our current range is proving popular amongst adults and children and is currently stocked at local independent retailers, cafes, garden centres and farm shops and on line. However we want to make it easier for people to get hold of our products as our customers tell us that they want to buy Nim’s along with their regular supermarket shopping. We want children to be able to access the fabulous taste and all the goodness of Nim’s. So we want to launch our Nim’s kids range and make it as widely available as possible.

We’d also like to bring Nim’s to more and more primary schools in the UK with interactive workshops to help children learn about healthy eating and where food comes from. Any additional funding we raise will help us to:

£5,000 - bring to fruition a fantastic, never before done snack for kids that we have already created in our minds.

£5,000 - PR & Marketing

If we hit our target, then we will enter everyone who has made a pledge into a massive draw for a chance to win a whole year’s supply of Nim’s Kids. That’s a whopping 30 packs a month, every month for a whole year! So PLEDGE NOW to be in with a chance of winning.

Terms & Conditions:

(1) Entry to “Win a year’s supply of Nim’s Kids” draw open to UK residents only, aged 18 or over.

(2) To enter go to https://backit.tesco.com/p/Nims-Kids and make a financial pledge to support the Nim’s Kids campaign.

 (3) Bulk or automated entries not permitted.

(4) Entries must be received by the closing date of 13 December 2016 when the BackIt campaign ends. The draw will only take place and the prize will only be awarded if our campaign funding target of £20,000 is met.

(5) By entering, you agree to accept and be bound by these rules.

(6) The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

(7) One winner will win a year’s supply of Nim's Kids Crisps (comprising 30 packs of Nim’s Kids every month for 12 months).

(8) No cash alternatives.

(9) Winner will be notified via email after the draw.

(10) Prizes not claimed within 14 days of the prize winner being notified may be redrawn and awarded to a new winner.

(11) Nim’s Fruit Crisps reserves the right to cancel or change the competition or any of these rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.

(12) Winners agree to their names being used for promotional purposes.

(13) The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

(14) The prize will be sent direct by Nim's Fruit Crisps UK or their agents, who are responsible for the fulfilment of the prize.

Having ironed out a few glitches here and there, we are on a roll and are going to do all we can to reach our target and launch Nim's Kids!

We should be able to have the rewards delivered to otehr people as I am buying subscription for members of family and would like to have them delivered direct to them. Or at least we should be able to pledge on more than one to save me having to put in all the details over and over again.
